How to Apply AGN



For use as a microbial soil rejuvenation and enrichment, AGN provides metabolites, enzymes, beneficial biomass that help in soil chemistry, water retention, salt reduction, create great soil structure.  Mix with water for a minimum one hour and apply directly to the soil as a pre-plant or post plant treatment or seasonal treatment.  Do not mix with any other fertilizers or fungicides.



Apply AGN by mixing at a rate 2 to 4 quarts per surface acre.  For sidedress or starter, apply at a rate 1 to 2 quarts per surface acre.



Mix one gallon (4 quarts) of AGN with minimum 40 gallons of water, up to 1000 gallons.  Apply at a rate 2 to 4 quarts per surface acre.

AGN is produced naturally from the fermentation of beneficial saprophytic microorganisms and provides specialized microbial culture, metabolites, and critical micro-nutrients for plants. Derived from fermentation of extracts of organisms including Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus thuringiensis, Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus megaterium, and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. The microbial soil amendment provides critical enzymes, metabolites and beneficial microbial biomass that aid in building soil structure, competitive exclusion, water retention, soil chemistry and salt reduction.

There are many complex interacting factors that restrict water penetration and movement throughout the soil. One of the most common is the buildup of excess salts as a result of over fertilization and/or the use of irrigation water that is high in salt content. Over time, if nothing is done, the problem can become so severe that the land will essentially lose all agricultural productivity. There are penetrants in the market that can only provide a lowering of the evaporation rate of water and allow the water to penetrate the soil and reach field capacity more easily. The limitation of the usefulness of a penetrant is a measure of whether the penetrant is stable in high saline concentration and extreme in pH, specifically in basic, hard water conditions.


There are two general classes of soil penetrants: AGN is a Non-Ionic Penetrants.

1. Non-Ionic Penetrants:

This class of penetrants varies widely depending on the active ingredients, stability in various waters, and effectiveness in specific soil types. If the penetrant is properly formulated it should not have an adverse effect on soil organism balance. The non-ionic penetrant should not alter electrical conduc- tivity of the water in which it has been dissolved and should remain unaltered even if the pH were to be changed over a wide range. A good quality non-ionic penetrant will move evenly into the soil horizontally and vertically and have a very low volatility. Once the penetrant has been properly incor- porated into the soil, the vapor pressure of the water in the soil profile can be lowered, keeping the soil moisture at or near ideal level.

2. Ionic Penetrants:

The class of penetrant usually contains the salt of an organic acid, either carboxylic or sulfonic. These are usually sodium salts and can interact with hard water calcium, magnesium ions to form a low solubility scum that may restrict water movement in the soil. A surfactant helps the water to move horizontally but not vertically. This is especially true in basic, high pH waters.


AGN has been developed to address the needs of the complex symbiotic processes that must take place in the soil which contains humic acids and fulvic acids needed for propagation of soil organism, which grow and die, providing amino acids and protein necessary materials for organism to maintain active for proper growth of healthy plants.

Our company concerted effort to understand the factors that can be addressed in the soil profile, and develop materials and techniques that can help to attain and maintain proper efficient soil balance. The factors most critical to a properly balanced soil are the nutrients, the pH, inorganic components, oxygen, available organic matter, and soil microbes’ organism balance. Each factor is interrelated and must be taken into consideration to be able to sustain production. AGN has been developed to be part of the answer and to be part of a well-designed agronomic program which helps to provide and delivered the amino acids, protein, humic acids, and fulvic acids needed for the support and propagation of soil microbes’ organisms necessary for proper growth of healthy plant material.

Too often the importance of the availability of these amino acids in the soil solution is ignored and only inorganic nutrients are mentioned as people discuss the health of plant materials. Pictured is the process of transfer of information from the DNA to the messenger RNA to make a protein. As the information associated with the needed protein is provided from the DNA of the plant or soil organism to messenger RNA, the protein can only be made from the messen- ger RNA template if all of the needed amino acids are available. Even if only one of the amino acids needed to make the protein is missing, the plant or animal cannot properly develop until that missing amino acid becomes available.


AGN has been developed to provide the soil with the necessary nutrients and microorganisms to ultimately support the plant development. These micronutrients can be chelated and complexes by amino acids making it much more available to the plants. The interaction of these organometallic compounds with the metal ions allows a more efficient transfer of the micronutrients across the cell membrane and allows the plant’s active transport system to be more efficient. Once chelated, the micronutrients are seen as a complex organometallic ion and not a simply metal ion. This allows the plant to more easily transfer the metal ions across the cell wall. Dramatic increases in the uptake of necessary micronutrients are observed when a soil balance has been attaining again resulting in both improved crop quality and yield.
